Just jumped back on the big pink bus after touring the Planned Parenthood health center here in Winston-Salem. We greeted the clinicians this morning with some much deserving coffee and bagels, and handed out t-shirts to supporters visiting the neighboring businesses.
As a source of free and reduced-price preventative services to a growing population hit hard by the recession, these clinicians provide a vital service to thousands of women from as far away as the Appalachians and southern Virginia. Mike Pence wants to take away those services to fulfill his private vendetta against women. But standing strong with the women of Winston-Salem, we say no way, no how! Still on the wall, we keep making up our mind to fight for women’s health.
On to Greensboro!
