In 1965, Muncie Planned Parenthood started to provide family planning services for women in a clinic in the Friends church. Since then it has expanded, but continues to keep its eye on the mission of providing health services to all women, including the poor.
Federal funding allows those women who could not otherwise afford services to get quality family planning so they can decide what they want to make of their lives -- to join the workforce, to have a career, or to continue with their education.
