Tanya Atkinson begins the event with opening remarks:
"Let’s talk briefly about what’s going on. We’ve got members in the House of Representatives who want to eliminate all federal funding for Planned Parenthood.
And if that wasn’t bad enough, our Governor wants to eliminate the state family planning program.
He also wants to repeal a law that prevents discrimination against women by requiring insurance companies to cover women’s prescription birth control the same way a man’s prescription is covered."
