Planned Parenthood es una excelente organización debido a que presta un servicio de salud a la comunidad y orientación sexual eficaces. Yo me siento orgullosa de pertenecer a esta organización.

Esta organización tiene promotores de salud que hablan español, lo cual nos permite ayudar a nuestra comunidad latina para que puedan tener atención médica adecuada en Wisconsin. Estos promotores de salud hacen énfasis en la prevención del cáncer del seno, cáncer del cuello uterino y la prevención de embarazos a través de un control de natalidad adecuado, y orientamos en tomar las mejores precauciones para evitar las infecciones de transmisión sexual.

Por medio de esta oportunidad quiero compartir un ejemplo de nuestra ayuda a la comunidad, el caso de una señora que tenia temor de hacerse el examen ginecológico, debido a mitos culturales. Y atreves de nuestras promotoras de salud aprendió que es un examen de rutina regular para cuidar su salud y se sometió a este examen. Logrando así nuestra misión.

Yo estoy con Planned Parenthood porque trabaja para la comunidad y su prioridad es de ayudar a la comunidad. Esto es algo que siempre me ha caracterizado y me hace sentir bien “Ayudar al que realmente necesita ayuda.”

Planned Parenthood is an excellent organization because it provides health services to the community and effective sexual guidelines, I feel proud of being part of this organization.

This organization, provides Spanish Health Promoted that helps us reach the Latino community, so they can have the adequate health care in Wisconsin. These health promoters give education on preventing breast cancer, cervix cancer, and to prevent pregnancy through birth control and we give advice in how to take the best choices to avoid sexually transmitted infections (STI).

By this time I want to share an example of helping our community: a woman who was afraid of a pelvic examination because her cultural myths, regarding the screening test. After talking to our promoters, she decided to take an exam.

I am with Planned Parenthood because I work for the community and it is a priority to help the community. This is something I’ve always been characterized and it makes me feel good “Helping who really need help."
