The anti-women's health extremists behind the push to bar Planned Parenthood health centers from federal funding have been spreading lies. The Planned Parenthood Truth Team — staff, patients, and supporters — are there to counter their lies with the truth and to demonstrate just how much support we have in communities and online.
WE'RE HERE IN PROVIDENCE
We just arrived at 111 Point Street in Providence for our rally at 9am, which is being held across the street from one of our health centers. Jen Brister, the Public Affairs Manager here, gave a group of us a tour of the health center, where all the cancer screenings, pap smears, STI tests, and other health care services actually take place. It's always great to see firsthand what we're on this Truth Tour fighting for.
